Watford manager Sean Dyche has admitted that he is keen on extending Michael Kightly's loan deal with the club.
The 25-year-old joined the Hornets last month from Wolverhampton Wanderers in search of regular action.
Despite being injured for the majority of his stint at Vicarage Road, Dyche is keen for Kightly to remain at the club.
"We are talking to Wolves as we speak," Dyche told the Watford Observer.
"He really likes it here and is enjoying his time here and obviously he wants to play more because that is what he came here to do.
"I have spoken to Mick [McCarthy] and he is happy with what we are doing here so we are trying to extend the loan."
Kightly recently signed a new contract at Molineux.
