Sebastian Boenisch refuses to accept trial offers

Former Werder Bremen defender Sebastian Boenisch targets a full-time contract.

Former Werder Bremen defender Sebastian Boenisch has revealed that he is no longer prepared to undergo a trial period at interested clubs.

The 25-year-old, who impressed for Poland at Euro 2012, has been without a club since leaving Bremen at the end of the season.

The full-back had a trial period at Stoke City, among others, but thus far he has failed to secure a full-time contract.

"I do not have the same chance as others because of time that I have been out of contract," he told Bild.

"If a trial does not end with my signature on the contract papers, then it is said that I have failed to make it. If there is a real offer dropping in for me, then I would consider it. There is no doubt about it."

Boenisch has nine international caps to his name.
