On-loan West Bromwich Albion striker Romelu Lukaku has praised the influence of head coach Steve Clarke following the club's 3-0 win over Liverpool.
Lukaku, who scored his side's third in the game, has been quick to suggest that Clarke will succeed as a Premier League manager because of his knowledge of the game.
"We saw what he did for many years at Chelsea, where he was a great assistant coach working with Jose Mourinho," The Sun quotes Lukaku as saying.
"Now he's showing everybody he can do it in the top flight as a manager. The gaffer knows the game. If you know the game, you can manage really well."
Lukaku made just eight league appearances for Chelsea last season.
