Darren Moore: 'West Bromwich Albion wanted all three points against Liverpool'

Darren Moore is delighted with West Bromwich Albion's 2-2 draw against Liverpool and stresses that the Baggies were not looking to settle for just one point.

Darren Moore has expressed his delight with West Bromwich Albion's 2-2 draw against Liverpool and insisted that the Baggies were not looking to settle for just one point.

The Premier League strugglers were two goals down after 79 minutes in Saturday's game at The Hawthorns, but goals from Jake Livermore and Salomon Rondon gave the hosts a share of the spoils.

Despite the impressive result, West Brom will still be relegated if Swansea City win at Manchester City on Sunday and Crystal Palace avoid defeat against Watford on Saturday.

"I am delighted with everyone at the club," Moore told Sky Sports News at full time.

"We've gone out there today and taken on a very good team and given it a right good go and come out with a deserved performance and results.

"We said 'where there is a will you will win it', we wanted to win the game. From being 2-0 down and coming back is no mean feat.

"I have said all along, I will only look to the game ahead. This game was a massive hurdle and to come out with a positive performance and a point, we will see what happens this weekend."

West Brom wrap up their season with games against Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace.
