Chris Brunt is reportedly on the verge of triggering a contract extension at West Bromwich Albion.
The Northern Ireland international will have an additional 12 months added to his current deal if he features in another two matches this season, according to The Telegraph.
Brunt is out of contract at The Hawthorns in the summer, but the extension will kick in if he plays in 22 matches during the current campaign.
The former Sheffield Wednesday midfielder is said to be back in favour at West Brom, despite reports that he clashed with manager Alan Pardew after their 2-1 defeat against Huddersfield Town.
West Brom are currently bottom of the Premier League table, seven points adrift and eight from safety.
