Steve Clarke expects Peter Odemwingie to leave West Bromwich Albion

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke believes that Peter Odemwingie will leave the club in the summer transfer window.

West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Clarke believes that striker Peter Odemwingie will not be a Baggies player next season.

The Nigerian has been open about his desire to leave the club following his failed move to Queens Park Rangers on the final day of the January transfer window.

"His future will be decided in the summer," Sky Sports News quotes Clarke as saying. "Do I think he will be a West Brom player next season? No, I don't.

"I don't do the deals, I'm the head coach, but I was asked a question and I gave an honest answer. I don't think he will be here next season."

Odemwingie made a cameo appearance in the Baggies' 4-0 defeat to Norwich City on Sunday.
