West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Irvine has claimed that Saido Berahino will not be sold in January's transfer window.
The striker currently has eight goals for the Baggies this season, despite having failed to score in his last seven games, and has recently been linked with a move to Inter Milan.
Irvine told BT Sport: "You certainly can't stop people looking, but the chairman has come out and said Saido won't be sold in January and I would imagine, as the chairman has said that, that he won't be sold.
"There will be a big focus on him and I expect people will have been looking at him and there will be a lot of people continuing to do that until the end of the transfer window.
"We can't stop them looking but that doesn't mean we have to take any offers that come in and the chairman has made it fairly clear how he feels about that."
West Brom are currently 16th in the Premier League table.
