West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has reportedly made Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan his top transfer target for next season.
Allardyce has yet to sign a new contract in East London but has began planning for next season regardless, with Guzan lined up as his first signing.
Guzan has impressed West Ham's scouting network with a string of accomplished performances, standing out in a tough campaign at Villa Park.
Despite a soaring valuation of around £5m, Allardyce is ready to test Villa's resolve with an early bid for American international, according to The Sun.
Guzan has more than two years left on his current contract with Paul Lambert's side after initially being released by former Villa boss Alex McLeish.
