West Ham United are reportedly preparing to launch a summer raid for Bordeaux defender Ludovic Sane.
The 26-year-old has built a reputation as a consistent performer in Ligue 1 since breaking into the Bordeaux side in 2009.
Sane can operate in either central defence or a holding midfield role and could make a move to East London as early as next week, according to talkSPORT.
Hammers boss Sam Allardyce has already signed experienced Romanian full-back Razvan Rat for next season and is keen to strengthen his squad with early captures to fend off rival interest in transfer targets.
Potential suitors will get another chance to watch Sane this weekend when Bordeaux face Evian TG in the Coupe de France final.
