Half-Time Report: Marc-Antonie Fortune's early strike separates Wigan and Bournemouth at half time

Marc-Antoine Fortune's early goal separates Wigan and Bournemouth at half time.

An early Marc-Antoine Fortune goal is the difference between Wigan Athletic and Bournemouth at the interval.

Fortune's fifth-minute goal, coming after a quick turn and right-footed strike into the top-left corner of Lee Camp's goal, has given the Latics a platform to extend their lead, though they have so far failed to do so.

Just minutes after taking the lead Camp denied Callum McManaman who was through on goal, though his heavy touch gave the Bournemouth stopper a chance to save the Cherries from falling further behind.

Jean Beausejour also had a glorious opportunity to add a second for the hosts, but he somehow managed to scoop his effort over the goal from three yards.
