Premier League newcomers Norwich City have held their own with a 1-1 draw against Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
Ben Watson made the first impression on the scoreboard, capitalising on a penalty conceded by Ritchie de Laet’s foul on Franco di Santo.
Norwich’s Wesley Hoolahan responded with an equaliser on the cusp of half time in the Canaries’ first top-flight game since 2005.
The Latics travel to Swansea next Saturday while the newly-promoted side host Stoke City on Sunday.
