Report: Wigan Athletic's Ivan Ramis fails Crystal Palace medical

Ivan Ramis reportedly fails a medical at Crystal Palace ahead of a proposed move from Wigan Athletic.

A proposed move to Crystal Palace for Wigan Athletic defender Ivan Ramis has reportedly fallen through.

The Spaniard was initially linked with a switch to Cardiff City, but Wigan manager Uwe Rosler recently revealed that Ramis was in talks with two clubs.

It is understood that Ramis was close to becoming a Palace player, but a move has been called off after he failed a medical, according to Sky Sports News.

The 29-year-old signed for Wigan in 2012.
