Half-Time Report: Peterborough United 0-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Sylvan Ebanks-Blake converts from the penalty spot to give Wolves a 1-0 lead over Peterborough in an otherwise quiet first period at London Road.

A Sylvan Ebanks-Blake penalty has given Wolverhampton Wanderers a 1-0 half-time lead over bottom side Peterborough United.

Posh have lost all of their opening six Championship matches this season, but resisted Wolves' pressure for the first half-hour at London Road.

However, Stale Solbakken's promotion-chasing side eventually went ahead when Ebanks-Blake converted from the spot after he was fouled in the box.

Kevin Doyle picked up the ball after Grant McCann gave away possession and played in his strike partner, who was brought down by Gabriel Zakuani.

Wolves are in search of their third consecutive win and are on course after Ebanks-Blake's fourth goal of the season.
