Team News: Scott Golbourne returns for Wolverhampton Wanderers

Scott Golbourne returns for Wolves in place of Matt Doherty for the visit of Tranmere Rovers to Molineux in League One tonight.

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Kenny Jackett has recalled Scott Golbourne to his starting lineup for the visit of Tranmere Rovers to Molineux tonight.

Golbourne sat out the 0-0 stalemate with Brentford at the weekend but the 25-year-old returns to the defence for the clash with Ronnie Moore's men in place of Matt Doherty.

Kevin Doyle and Leigh Griffiths are retained again having started in attack for the clash with the Bees, while Bjorn Sigurdarson will start from the bench.

Meanwhile, Moore names just one change to his first XI from the 5-1 thumping of Coventry City on Saturday.

Veteran defender Ian Goodison steps in for Ash Taylor, who was sent off in the demolition of the Sky Blues.

Wolverhampton Wanderers: Ikeme; Ricketts, Batth, Stearman, Golbourne; Jacobs, Edwards, McDonald, Sako; Doyle, Griffiths

Tranmere Rovers: Williams; Holmes, McNulty, Ridehalgh, Goodison; Atkinson, Power, Akpa Akpro, Kirby; Lowe, Koumas
