Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in securing a loan deal for out-of-favour Stoke City defender Moritz Bauer.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly identified Stoke City defender Moritz Bauer as a potential January signing.

The West Midlands outfit are looking to strengthen their squad before the end of the month, and a number of high-profile players have been linked with a switch to Molineux.

According to the Express & Star, an approach will be made for Bauer, who has fallen down the pecking order at the bet365 Stadium.

The 26-year-old has made a total of 20 appearances since moving to the Potters 12 months ago, but the Swiss has not made a senior outing since the end of September.

Wolves are keen to add another option at right wing-back, and Bauer would be regarded as backup to Matt Doherty should he make the move to the Premier League side.
