Half-Time Report: Wycombe Wanderers lead Hartlepool United at the break

Fred Onyedinma puts Wycombe Wanderers 1-0 up against bottom-of-the-table Hartlepool United at half time.

Second-placed Wycombe Wanderers lead Hartlepool United at the break as they go into half time 1-0 up.

The goal, scored by Fred Onyedinma, came eight minutes before the break, which undid some resilient defending from Hartlepool beforehand.

Onyedinma burst through the Pools' defence and fiercely struck the ball past Scott Flinders.

Hartlepool reacted well to conceding but have failed to make an attacking impact against Wycombe so far.

Wycombe had the ball in the back of the net on the stroke of half time but it was ruled out for offside.

If the scores remain the same for the next 45 minutes, Wycombe will go top of League Two.
