Everton boss Roberto Martinez impressed with Young Boys form

Everton manager Roberto Martinez highlights the threat of Young Boys ahead of Thursday's clash in the Europa League.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has revealed that he has been "very impressed" by the form of Europa League hosts Young Boys in this season's competition.

The Toffees play the first leg against the Swiss side on Thursday, and the Blues boss has talked up the threat that their opponents will pose at home.

He told reporters: "I have been very impressed and very surprised with Young Boys' form. They are a team that has been developing really strong form and have won eight and a draw in the last nine.

"That is impressive, impressive form. The way they play at home with the astro turf, they use that really, really well.

"Their positional play in possession is really, really impressive and they have good creative with a very much attacking minded focus and that is why we are going to see such a good game."

Everton finished top of Group H to book their place in the last 32 of the tournament before Christmas.
