Ulster coach Mark Anscombe pleased with Heineken Cup start

Ulster coach Mark Anscombe praises his players for getting their Heineken Cup campaign off to a winning start.

Ulster coach Mark Anscombe has said that he is pleased with his side's 22-16 victory over Leicester Tigers in the Heineken Cup on Friday.

The hosts conceded an early try to Logovi'i Mulipola but bounced back to claim the win at Ravenhill.

"They might be happy with a point but our objective was to get four points and we achieved that, each week and each game we play that is our objective and if we stick to doing that we'll come through," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.

"We're happy with the four and there is only six games and you have to win your home games to be there at the end of the day and we have won our first one, we'll enjoy that and then we'll start to think about our trip to France [to face Montpellier] next Saturday."

Ulster will travel to Montpellier on October 19 in their next Pool 5 clash.
