Third seed Tomas Berdych has said that beating Roger Federer and reaching the final of the Dubai Tennis Championship feels "amazing".
The Czech number one prevailed 3-6 7-6[8] 6-4 over the defending champion, booking a final with top seed Novak Djokovic.
Berdych revealed after the match the he enjoys playing the 17-time Grand Slam champion because of what he has achieved within the sport.
"It feels really amazing," Berdych told reporters. "It's really just about one single point that I was able to make better than him.
"For me, it was a celebration of tennis. I like to play him so much because of what he has achieved."
Djokovic defeated Juan Martin del Potro 6-3 7-6[4] to advance to the final.
