World number three Andy Murray will take part in the Brisbane International next month as he builds up his fitness ahead of the Australian Open in January.
The Scot will join fellow top 20 players Milos Raonic, Gilles Simon, Alexandr Dolgopolov and Kei Nishikori at the tournament, while Lleyton Hewitt will also take part.
Canadian Raonic has enjoyed successful year to date, picking up titles in Chennai and San Jose, and he has targeted a solid end to the year.
"The Brisbane tournament has been an appealing choice to make this time round because I really enjoy being in Australia, it makes the travel a lot easier. I look forward to new experiences, good food and building some good memories there," he told reporters.
Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis is also among the names set to compete.
