Rafael Nadal has reached the final of the VTR Open on his return to competitive action.
The Spaniard had not played for seven months ahead of this week because of a knee injury sustained at Wimbledon last year.
The 26-year-old reached the final of the clay-court tournament in Vina del Mar, Chile by beating Jeremy Chardy 6-2 6-2 in just over an hour.
Nadal, who has not dropped a set all week, will now face Argentine Horacio Zeballos in Sunday's final.
