Andy Murray has denied that he has any problem with the Australian Open scheduling or alleged favouritism towards Roger Federer.
Reports surfaced earlier that Murray was unhappy that all but one of Federer's matches were in the evening session, while the Scot has played the majority of his during the heat of the afternoon.
Murray beat Jeremy Chardy this afternoon to advance to the semi-finals and said afterwards that he has no problem with the scheduling.
"I was asked a question about scheduling and I said that sometimes it works in your favour and sometimes it doesn't," said Murray.
"I have no complaints about the schedule, I never did have. It's tough to make the schedule perfect for every player. If I was tournament director, I would have put Federer against Tsonga in the evening because it's the best match.
"Tonight I will go and hit some balls [rather than watch the match] on the other courts to get used to the conditions at night."
Murray will face the winner of the match between Roger Federer and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the semi-finals on Friday morning.
