World number one Serena Williams has revealed that she has no plans to retire from tennis and intends to continue for the foreseeable future.
The American, who turns 32 next month, became the oldest women's winner of the US Open since tennis turned professional in 1968 when she claimed her fifth title at Flushing Meadows on Sunday.
However, Williams insists that she is enjoying her game too much at the moment to contemplate calling it a day.
"I haven't thought of a number or age when I'm going to stop," Williams told reporters.
"I can tell you this: I don't see myself retiring any time soon and obviously there's some goals that I want to reach and things that I want to do."
Williams beat Victoria Azarenka 7-5 6-7 6-1 to claim the US Open crown at in New York at the weekend.
