Team News: Sulley Muntari returns to AC Milan midfield for Torino test

Sulley Muntari returns to the AC Milan side, but there is no room for Stephan El Shaarawy against Torino.

Filippo Inzaghi has handed a recall to Sulley Muntari for AC Milan's meeting with Torino in Serie A.

Muntari returns to the Milan midfield as a replacement for fellow Ghanaian Michael Essien, who drops to the bench following the 2-1 loss to Sassuolo in midweek.

Essien is joined on the bench by Alessio Cerci as the attacker, who recently moved to the club on loan from Atletico Madrid, is forced to wait for the chance to impress against his former club.

The Milan attack is led by Jeremy Menez, Giacomo Bonaventura and M'Baye Niang as Inzaghi leaves Stephan El Shaarawy out of his starting lineup.

Josef Martinez and Fabio Quagliarella continue their strike partnership for Torino, who will move nine points clear of the relegation zone with a win.

Torino: Padelli; Maksimovic, Moretti, Glik; Peres, Vives, Gazzi, Farnerud, Darmian; Martinez, Quagliarella

Milan: Diego Lopez; De Sciglio, Mexes, Rami, Armero; Montolivo, De Jong, Muntari; Niang, Menez, Bonaventura
