Arsenal and Olympiakos are drawing 1-1 at the break in tonight's Champions League encounter at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal and Olympiakos have gone in 1-1 at half-time in tonight's Champions League encounter at the Emirates Stadium.

After a quiet opening under heavy rain, the first chance of the game came when Santi Cazorla's whipped free kick was tipped over the crossbar by Balazs Megyeri.

The Gunners continued to enjoy much of the possession but found it difficult to create any meaningful opportunities.

The Greeks nearly took a shock lead on 30 minutes, but Kostantinos Mitroglou's low effort was well held by Vito Mannone before Ioannis Maniatis somehow put his effort over the bar from six yards.

Arsenal broke the deadlock with three minutes to play as Gervinho's low drive skidded into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.

With the home side thinking that they had a half-time lead, Olympiakos got level in injury time when Konstantinos Mitroglou headed in.
