Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reportedly decides to leave the club in January amid interest from Newcastle United and Juventus.

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is reportedly ready to leave the club in the January transfer window.

The 32-year-old has not played a single minute for Mikel Arteta's side since being stripped of the captaincy due to multiple disciplinary breaches last month.

Aubameyang only has 18 months left to run on his current Arsenal deal, and the team's strong form without the ex-Borussia Dortmund man in the starting XI has led to widespread speculation surrounding a move elsewhere.

Now, journalist Nicolo Schira claims that Aubameyang has decided to head elsewhere over the winter, three years after he initially signed for the club during the Arsene Wenger reign.

Newcastle United and Juventus are thought to be at the head of the queue for Aubameyang's signature, with the Magpies already believed to be in talks over a loan deal with an option to buy.

Aubameyang boasts 92 goals from 163 games in an Arsenal shirt but only has four strikes to his name from 14 Premier League games this season.
