By the close of play on Wednesday evening, Arsenal will almost certainly be celebrating progression to the Champions League quarter-finals following the second leg of their last-16 battle with Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven.
Peter Bosz's men claimed a memorable scalp over Juventus in the playoff round, but that mattered little during last week's first leg at the Philips Stadion, where Arsenal achieved an unprecedented Champions League feat.
The Gunners became the first team to ever score seven goals away from home in a Champions League knockout game as they obliterated the Rood-Witten 7-1 on their own patch, and a quarter-final battle with either Real Madrid or Atletico Madrid is surely on the cards.
However, Arsenal reverted to their lacklustre attacking ways in the weekend's 1-1 Premier League draw with Manchester United, while their visitors ended a three-game losing run by beating Heerenveen 2-1 in the Eredivisie.
Here, Sports Mole looks at the head-to-head record and previous meetings between Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven ahead of Wednesday's Champions League last-16 second leg.

Head-to-head record
Previous meetings: 11
PSV wins: 2
Draws: 4
Arsenal wins: 5
Becoming increasingly familiar foes in European competition, PSV Eindhoven and Arsenal have now met 11 times on the continent, and the English titans hold the bragging rights with five victories compared to just two for the Rood-Witten.
Another four showdowns have ended all square, including a 1-1 stalemate during the league phase of the 2023-24 Champions League, although a comprehensive 4-0 win for Arsenal preceded that dead-rubber draw in Eindhoven.
The 2024-25 Champions League saw Arsenal and PSV lock horns for the third year running, as they were also pitted together in the Europa League group stage in 2022-23, where a 1-0 home win for the Gunners preceded a 2-0 success for the Rood-Witten on their own patch.
Eindhoven has not been the happiest of haunts for the Gunners in previous years, as they have only won two of their previous six away games against PSV, although one of those was a 7-1 win in the first leg of their 2024-25 Champions League last-16 battle, where they set two new competition records in the process.
Arsenal's first away triumph at PSV came in the clubs' first-ever competitive meeting in September 2002, as Gilberto Silva, Freddie Ljungberg and Thierry Henry (2) were on target in a routine 4-0 victory for Arsene Wenger's team.
However, Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw away to PSV in the 2004-05 group stage before a fatal 1-0 loss in the first leg of their 2006-07 last-16 battle, which preceded another 1-1 stalemate at the Emirates as the Dutch side progressed to the quarter-finals.
The North London giants are also unbeaten in their previous five home clashes with PSV, playing out a goalless draw at Highbury in November 2002 and prevailing 1-0 in September 2004 courtesy of an own goal by Alex.
The ex-Chelsea defender coincidentally turned the ball into his own net yet again in the 2006-07 last-16 second leg, before atoning for his mistake with the equaliser that eliminated Arsenal from the competition.
Alex's two own goals and one correct strike against the Gunners technically makes him the joint-highest scorer in this head-to-head, level with Martin Odegaard and Henry's three for Arsenal.
