Borussia Dortmund to rival Arsenal for Moussa Diaby?

Borussia Dortmund are ready to battle Arsenal for Bayer Leverkusen attacker Moussa Diaby, according to a report.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly ready to battle Arsenal for the signature of Bayer Leverkusen attacker Moussa Diaby during this summer's transfer window.

The 20-year-old has scored five times and provided eight assists in 27 appearances for his German club during the 2019-20 campaign, including two assists against Werder Bremen on Monday night.

Arsenal have allegedly identified the left-sided attacker a potential summer transfer target, but according to Le 10 Sport, Dortmund are also in the hunt for his signature.

The report claims that the German giants have already approached Leverkusen to inquire over the availability of the France Under-21 international ahead of the 2020-21 season.

Die Werkself have Diaby on a contract until June 2024 but are believed to be open to offers in the region of £27m.

The youngster came through the youth system at Paris Saint-Germain and made 34 appearances for the French champions last season before joining Leverkusen.
