Liverpool could reportedly move for Bayer Leverkusen attacker Kai Havertz as they search for a long-term Roberto Firmino replacement.
Firmino has again been an important player for the Reds during the 2019-20 campaign, but the Brazilian will be 29 later this year and has only scored eight Premier League goals this season.
According to the Liverpool Echo, Havertz could be targeted by Jurgen Klopp's side as they look to sign another deep centre-forward over the next couple of transfer windows.
The 20-year-old made it 12 goals for the season when he scored twice in Leverkusen's 4-1 win over Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga on Monday night.
Manchester United and Barcelona are also believed to be admirers of the attacker, who has netted once in seven appearances for the German national side.
Havertz's current deal at Leverkusen is due to run until the summer of 2022.
