Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reportedly has no plans to leave Arsenal amid links with Barcelona.

Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang reportedly has no intention of leaving the club in the current transfer window.

The former Borussia Dortmund man only signed a new contract with the Gunners in the summer of 2020, but he had a 2020-21 season to forget with 10 goals in 29 Premier League outings.

Personal issues and malaria also contributed to Aubameyang's underwhelming campaign, but he struggled for form in pre-season and was also forced to miss the Gunners' opening-day defeat to Brentford through illness.

A swap deal with Barcelona involving Philippe Coutinho has been mooted, but The Express claims that Aubameyang has no plans to end his Emirates stint just yet.

The report adds that links with Barcelona have been dismissed as 'nonsense', and Aubameyang wants to see out his contract at Arsenal and become a club legend.

The 32-year-old boasts 85 goals from 148 games in an Arsenal shirt and is not due to become a free agent until the end of the 2022-23 season.
