Team News: Christian Benteke leads Aston Villa line against West Bromwich Albion

Christian Benteke will lead Aston Villa's line in their Premier League match at home to close rivals West Bromwich Albion.

Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood has dropped Scott Sinclair and Carles Gil from his XI for tonight's Premier League match at home to West Bromwich Albion.

Belgian international Christian Benteke will lead the line for the hosts, while there is also a spot in the team for attacker Charles N'Zogbia.

West Brom boss Tony Pulis had injury doubts over Saido Berahino and Brown Ideye ahead of the match, but both start for the Baggies, who are unbeaten in their last four league games.

Versatile Northern Irishman Chris Brunt will seemingly operate in a full-back position for the visitors, while James Morrison has also been included.

Villa are bidding to end a run of seven straight defeats in the league.

Villa: Guzan; Hutton, Okore, Clark, Lowton; Westwood, Delph, Cleverley; Agbonlahor, Benteke, N'Zogbia

West Brom: Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Lescott, Brunt; Morrison, Yacob, Fletcher, Gardner; Ideye, Berahino
