Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Sevilla

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash with Sevilla.

Barcelona will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in La Liga when they travel to Estadio Ramon on Saturday afternoon to face Sevilla.

The Catalan giants will enter this weekend's contest off the back of a 3-0 win over Elche on Wednesday, with Lionel Messi scoring a brace before Jordi Alba netted late on.

Ronald Koeman's side are currently third in the table, though, five points behind leaders Atletico Madrid, who also have a game in hand.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Barca's injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Sevilla, who currently occupy fourth position in Spain's top flight.


Ansu Fati

Barca remain without the services of Ansu Fati due to a knee injury, and it is still unclear when the 18-year-old will be available for selection once again, but he should return before the end of the campaign.


Sergi Roberto

Sergi Roberto, who has only played eight times in La Liga this season, is currently on the sidelines with a muscular problem, and the 29-year-old is unlikely to be available until the middle of March.


Philippe Coutinho

Possible return date: Unknown

Philippe Coutinho was forced to undergo knee surgery to treat the problem that he picked up against Eibar at the end of December, and the Brazil international is expected to be out for at least the next month.


Ronald Araujo

Ronald Araujo, who has been an important player for Barca this season, suffered a sprained ankle against Real Betis on February 7, and the defender is not expected to play again until the middle of next month.
