Barcelona have completed the signing of Montreal Impact youngster Ballou Jean-Yves Tabla on a three-year deal.
The 18-year-old became the youngest player to represent the Major League Soccer side last year and made 21 appearances in total.
Ivory Coast-born Ballou, tracked by the Catalan giants for several months, has now been added to Barca's B side for the remainder of the 2017-18 campaign.
Impact president Joey Saputo told the MLS club's official website: "This transfer is an important moment in the history and evolution of our club.
"We take a lot of pride in seeing a young player, developed in our academy, climb the ladder all the way to the first team and realise his dream to play in Europe with a big club like Barcelona."
Barcelona also have the option on extending the Canadian youngster's contract by a further two years, at which point his release clause will climb from £22m to £66m.
