Barcelona star Lionel Messi is reportedly disappointed with the club for wanting to bring back academy graduate Gerard Deulofeu.
The 23-year-old winger has spent the last two years on Everton's books, but after Ronald Koeman replaced Roberto Martinez as manager, Deulofeu struggled for game time.
The Spaniard was shipped out on loan to AC Milan for the second half of last season, and it appears that his spell at Goodison Park is coming to an end.
It is believed that Barcelona's new head coach Ernesto Valverde is keen to activate the £10.5m buy-back clause in the player's contract.
According to Don Balon, Messi is unhappy with the news as he believes that the club should focus on bringing in Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti.
Deulofeu joined Everton for £4.2m in 2015.
