Bayern Munich midfielder Xabi Alonso has admitted that it would be "a great achievement" if he could match Clarence Seedorf's exploits in the Champions League.
Former Dutch international Seedorf is the only player in history to have won the competition with three different clubs.
However, having joined Bayern during the summer, Alonso now has the opportunity to match Seedorf.
"For sure, [winning the Champions League] is one of the targets of the club and, personally, it would be a great achievement. I would never have dreamed I could be this close but I think we have a good enough team to fight for all the titles," he told the Daily Mail.
"It will be difficult as you are fighting against Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, PSG, Juventus. Top clubs in Europe. We will see if we meet the challenge."
Alonso has previously lifted the trophy during his stints with Real Madrid and Liverpool.
