Half-Time Report: Cardiff City, Bolton Wanderers level after 45 minutes

Cardiff City and Bolton Wanderers go into half time on level terms, as Gary Madine's solo effort cancels out Tony Watt's opener.

Bolton Wanderers have come from behind to level the scoreline at the Macron Stadium going into half time.

Tony Watt scored the opener, picking up the ball wide on the left and beating Dorian Dervite before lashing past Bolton keeper Ben Amos at the near post with 13 minutes played.

Neil Lennon's side were level just five minutes later through Gary Madine, who replaced the injured Max Clayton in the Bolton lineup.

Madine collected the ball wide on the left-hand side, cut into the edge of the box before curling a right-footed effort into the far corner past Bluebirds keeper David Marshall.

The 23rd minute saw an injury to Lee Peltier, with Fabio filling in at right-back.

Aron Gunnarsson's 35th-minute strike came closest to changing the scoreline as the midfielder's effort shook the side-netting.
