Adam Clayton has been handed his first start for Middlesbrough in this evening's Championship encounter with Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok.
The summer signing came off the bench during Saturday's 1-0 defeat away to Leeds United but will now make his full debut for the club as one of three changes to the starting lineup from that loss.
Emilio Nsue and Sebastian Hines also come into the side for Aitor Karanka, with Daniel Ayala, Adam Reach and Dean Whitehead the trio to make way.
Bolton, meanwhile, have made two changes of their own following a 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest last weekend, bringing in Liam Feeney and Liam Trotter.
Mohamed Kamara and Neil Danns have both been left out as Dougie Freedman looks to guide his side to a first league win of the season.
