Team News: Brazil's Diego Tardelli starts against Mexico

Fred partners Diego Tardelli in attack as Brazil continue their Copa America preparation against Mexico.

Shandong Luneng striker Diego Tardelli will start in attack for Brazil as they continue their Copa America preparations against Mexico in Sao Paulo.

Head coach Carlos Dunga has also opted for Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Fred, but ex-Manchester City star Robinho is missing through injury.

Fernandinho's injury absence means that Casemiro is drafted into the Selecao's midfield.

Mexico, who will also take part in the Copa America in Chile, will start with Raul Jimenez in attack at Allianz Parque.

He will likely be supported from midfield by the trio of Javier Guemez, Jesus Manuel Corona and Eduardo Herrera.

Brazil: Jefferson; Danilo, Miranda, Luiz, Luis; Fernandinho, Elias, Fred; Coutinho, Willian; Tardelli

Mexico: Corona; Corral, Ayala, Marquez, Dominguez; Aldrete, Osuna, Guemez, Corona, Herrera; Jimenez
