Half-Time Report: Tom Cairney strikes for Fulham to peg back Brighton

Tom Cairney strikes just before half time to ensure that Fulham go into the break level with Brighton & Hove Albion.

Tom Cairney's stunner ensured that Fulham went into the break level with Brighton & Hove Albion this afternoon.

Brighton almost took the lead after five minutes but Tamer Hemed's shot rebounded off the bar, before Sam Baldock converted Bruno's clever pass.

Cairney, a summer signing from Blackburn Rovers, struck just before half time to cancel out Baldock's opener.

After being dominated for the most of the half, Fulham almost took the lead on the stroke of the interval, but Matt Smith's header came back off the post.
