Burnley boss Sean Dyche backs strikers to shine

Burnley manager Sean Dyche believes that his strikers will make the step up to Premier League football.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche believes that his strikers will adapt to life in the Premier League.

The Clarets have scored just once in their opening four matches of the season in all competitions.

Danny Ings and Lukas Jutkiewicz have not found the net so far this term, but Dyche is confident that the goals will come for the pair.

"Ingsy is still working to find his feet at this level - why wouldn't he be? He's a young man going into a real tough level of football," Dyche told Pendle Today.

"Juke showed really good signs in pre-season, I thought he was excellent for large parts of the last game against Manchester United.

"It's a very tough level. You look at the strikers who do score a lot of goals at this level and they tend to be worth rather a large of amount of money."

Burnley travel to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
