Sam Vokes struck in the closing stages to earn Burnley a point from their Lancashire derby with Blackburn Rovers at Turf Moor this afternoon.
Hosting Burnley dominated large parts of the first half, but they were unable to find a way past Paul Robinson in the Blackburn goal.
The former England international first denied Ross Wallace from distance with 34 minutes on the clock, before being called into action just one minute earlier to palm away an effort from close range by the division's leading goalscorer Charlie Austin.

As the half drew to a close Robinson was forced to dive at full stretch to tip wide a curling effort from Martin Paterson to ensure that his side went into the break level.
Blackburn manager Henning Berg introduced Manchester United loanee Josh King into the action at half-time and the Norwegian provided Rovers with a greater attacking threat.
However, he was not involved in the goal that broke the deadlock in the 68th minute. Mauro Formica was the creator, crossing the ball for Jordan Rhodes, who got beyond his marker to head the ball into the net at the near post to give Rovers the lead.

The Clarets pushed hard to find an equaliser in the closing stages and it eventually arrived with one minute of the encounter remaining. Vokes rose highest inside the area to guide a header beyond the reach of Robinson.

Vokes had another chance in stoppage time, but he headed Dean Marney's cross over the bar from inside the area.
