Blackburn Rovers have been held to a 1-1 draw by Bury tonight.
Rovers had the first effort on goal after eight minutes as John O'Sullivan forced Christian Walton into a flying save.
Bury took a surprise lead 17 minutes later as Tom Pope lashed the ball into the back of the net after Tom Soares touched a free kick into his path.
Leon Clarke thought that he had doubled the home side's lead shortly after the break, but his free kick did not cross the line before it was cleared.
They were made to pay for that near miss as Craig Conway curled a 25-yard strike into the bottom corner, and he almost added a second in similar circumstances a few minutes later but it bent past the post.
Both sides continued to push forward late on but had to settle for a draw.
