Real Madrid could reportedly make a move for Chelsea right-back Reece James during this summer's transfer window.
Los Blancos are said to be keen to bring a new right-sided defender to Bernabeu ahead of next season to provide competition for current first-choice right-back Dani Carvajal.
According to Defensa Central, James has emerged as a target for Carlo Ancelotti's side, with the England international developing into one of the most impressive attacking full-backs in European football.
The 22-year-old has provided five goals and six assists in 23 appearances for Chelsea during the 2021-22 campaign, but he has not played in the Premier League since the end of December due to a hamstring injury.
The report claims that RB Leipzig's Nordi Mukiele and Shakhtar Donetsk's Dodo are also viewed as possible acquisitions by the European giants.
Meanwhile, Alvaro Odriozola, who is currently on loan from Real Madrid to Fiorentina, could also allegedly be reintroduced into the first-team picture next term.
