Real Madrid have reportedly joined the race to sign Ajax defender Noussair Mazraoui this summer.
The 24-year-old's contract with his Amsterdam outfit is due to expire at the end of June, and he is set to leave the club on a free transfer ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
Barcelona have been strongly linked with the right-back, and a recent report claimed that AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund were the Catalan side's main competition for his signature.
However, according to Fichajes, Real Madrid are also firmly in the race for the Morocco international, with the La Liga leaders viewing him as the ideal player to boost their right-back options.
Lucas Vazquez is currently Dani Carvajal's back up on the right side of the back four, but head coach Carlo Ancelotti is said to want another specialist in that area of the field.
Mazraoui has made 25 appearances for Ajax during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring five times and contributing three assists, while he has represented the Dutch giants on 127 appearances since making his debut in 2018.
