Derby County record a comfortable 3-1 victory over Middlesbrough at Pride Park.

Derby County have ended a run of three games without a win thanks to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Middlesbrough at Pride Park.

The Rams began brightly and took the lead in the 19th minute when Michael Jacobs applied the finishing touch to Ben Davies's low free kick.

Jeff Hendrick doubled Derby's lead with a 20-yard strike just minutes before the break.

The points were sewn up just after the hour mark when Connor Sammon slammed home from close range as he followed up Jacobs's low shot.

Lukas Jutkiewicz scored a consolation goal deep into injury time, but it was the home fans who were celebrating at the full-time whistle.
