Burnley held off a late fightback from Leeds United to claim a 2-1 victory at Elland Road in the Championship this afternoon.
Burnley created the first chance of the game but Paddy Kenny saved from Scott Arfield's curling shot.
Kenny was forced into action again moments later when he pushed a strike from Sam Vokes wide.
The visitors went ahead in the 18th minute when Arfield fired a shot past the keeper's near post.
Burnley doubled their lead three minutes before half time after Vokes finished from close range.
The home side pulled a goal back in the 79th minute when substitute Matt Smith headed home from a corner, but it was not enough as Burnley held on for the victory.
