Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Tuesday's Champions League clash with RB Leipzig.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola should make significant alterations for Tuesday's Champions League Group A clash with RB Leipzig.

The Citizens only have Ferran Torres's foot injury to worry about ahead of this game, with Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and Kevin De Bruyne all playing in the 3-1 win over Watford.

With City guaranteed to finish at the top of the pile, it would not be surprising to see Ederson granted a rest as Zack Steffen enjoys a rare run-out in goal.

Joao Cancelo will miss the first leg of the last-16 clash if he is booked here, so Kyle Walker may hold his place at right-back as Oleksandr Zinchenko features on the left.

John Stones and Nathan Ake both ought to start in defence ahead of Aymeric Laporte and Ruben Dias, while Fernandinho could feature just ahead of the two centre-backs.

Guardiola has confirmed that De Bruyne will start this game, so either Ilkay Gundogan or the in-form Bernardo Silva are set to make way for the returning Belgian.

Riyad Mahrez should return to the attack alongside Grealish, but with Gabriel Jesus being left at home as a precaution, Cole Palmer may be given the chance to lead the line.

Man City possible starting lineup: Steffen; Walker, Stones, Ake, Zinchenko; De Bruyne, Fernandinho, B. Silva; Mahrez, Palmer, Grealish
