Carlos Tevez could sue Roberto Mancini

Carlos Tevez is considering suing Roberto Mancini for defamation of character, according to reports.

Carlos Tevez is reportedly considering suing Roberto Mancini for defamation of character after the striker was fined four weeks' wages for refusing to warm up during a Champions League game at Bayern Munich.

The Argentinian could sue Mancini over claims made after the game that he refused to play, according to The Mirror.

Tevez has denied that he refused to play, blaming a misunderstanding, and he will appeal his fine and ban to the club's board.

It has also been revealed that City will not offload Tevez in January for anything less than his true market value – estimated in the summer at £50m.
