Bayern Munich have reportedly reignited their interest in Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale.
As a result of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben leaving the Allianz Arena, Bayern are on the hunt for fresh faces in attack, preferably players who can play out wide.
However, having been left frustrated in their efforts to sign Manchester City winger Leroy Sane, the Bundesliga champions have been left to look at alternatives.
According to Diario AS, that could see Bayern return for Bale, having initially held an interest in the Wales international earlier in the summer.
Real are keen to offload Bale at the earliest opportunity, providing that they receive an acceptable fee and find a club who are prepared to take on a large chunk of the attacker's wages.
Bale still has three years remaining on his contract at the Bernabeu.
