A howler from David de Gea gifted Everton an equaliser in their FA Cup third round clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford this evening.
The hosts had taken an early lead in front of their own fans when Antony marked his first FA Cup appearance with his first goal in the competition, sliding in to poke home Marcus Rashford's cross from close range after only three minutes.
The Red Devils threatened to add to their lead before Everton began to fight back, with Demarai Gray hitting the woodwork after 13 minutes.
However, the equaliser arrived just one minute later when Amadou Onana slipped a pass through for Neal Maupay, who reached it on the stretch and hooked it back towards the near post.
It seemed to be a simple one for De Gea to deal with, but the Manchester United keeper allowed it to tamely squirm through his legs, allowing Conor Coady to poke the ball over the line and into an unguarded net.
What is the keeper doing here...?! 👀
